The first step of our process to change your chip and pin and payments processing provider is to arrange a free of charge meeting with one of our Merchant Services Consultants. This can be a virtual meeting or we can visit your premises to discuss your requirements. The meeting will cover card processing fees, card machines, online payments and potential ePos requirements. It's best to have your current card processing statement and credit card machine rental contract details to hand.
After our initial meeting our consultant will analyse your payments needs and payments processing charges and match you to the most suitable of our panel of card payments processors and Chip and PIN machine suppliers. As independent Merchant Service Consultants we are able to transact with the many of the leading Merchant Acquirers and have access to a full range of Card Machines from Pax, Ingenico and Verifone. By using this approach we can ensure you've got the right deal with the right technology.
Once you're happy with our recommendations we will complete your application for your new Merchant ID with you and walk you through every step of the process. Our expertise makes this straightforward and it takes between one day and one week depending on how complex your payments processing needs are. Once your application has been approved we'll oversee the setup of your account and analytics applications and arrange delivery of your new card machines and ePos Systems.
When the new Chip and PIN terminals arrive our consultant will arrange a convenient time to call in and install your new card machines. They'll show you and your staff how to take your first card payments and how to get the best from the new payments terminals. They'll also demonstrate any analytics applications and portals that have been deployed. At this stage they can also help to disconnect your old PDQ machine and help you close your existing payments processing account.
Once you're up and running PaymentSouth's team will keep in touch. Not only will you have all the contact details you need to get support but we get in touch after you've had your new payments system for a week to make sure you're happy and everything's working OK. Then we'll contact you after a month and then stay in touch regularly to make sure your getting the most from your new card machines.
